About Yvette Aimee Performing Arts (YAPA)
Yvette Aimee Performing Arts is a friendly, family-run school led by sisters Yvette Healey and Chrissy Bailey. We are passionate about creating a safe, happy, inclusive, and professional environment where every child can enjoy learning and growing through the performing arts.
At YAPA, we welcome all children and celebrate each individual for their unique talents and personalities. Our aim is to nurture confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of performance.
We offer high-quality training in Ballet, Modern, Acro, Acrobatic Arts, Musical Theatre, Pre-School Ballet, and Street Dance, with classes based in Great Glen and Smeeton Westerby.
We proudly follow the British Theatre Dance Association (BTDA) syllabus, giving students the opportunity to take examinations and gain recognised qualifications. Our dancers also love taking part in festivals and competitions throughout the year, showcasing their skills and teamwork.
The highlight of our year is our spectacular annual show where every child shines on stage and celebrates their achievements with family and friends.
All of our teachers are highly qualified, fully DBS checked, and dedicated to providing the very best training experience for every student.
